Fall Craft Project - Autumn Paper Gift Basket /Bonbon Basket
This is a really easy and fun project to make. You can fill it with sweets or other small items that you wish to give as a gift to someone. Depending on the season or holiday, you can change the colors and embellishments to fit these accordingly.

For an autumn occasion or birthday, a basket with fall leaves is just perfect for the season.

To create this project, you need the following supplies:

The Ultimate Crafter’s Companion
There are unendless possibilities of all the pretty things you can make with this set. It allows you to emboss, fold, cut, create bows as well as create boxes, baskets and envelopes.

Cardstock and Scrapbook Paper of Your Choice
For the above project you need a 12 x 12 inch or 30 x 30 cm piece of heavy orange card as well as a matching piece of patterned scrapbook paper.

|
|
|
Wide Organza or Other Light Ribbon
The ribbon should lightweight but should still be able to hold its shape well. Choose a color to match your box.

|
|
Sizzix Big Shot
Sizzix Big Shot is a great die-cutting and embossing machine and has been around for several years already. Use it with dies and folders from Sizzix or other companies to easily cut and/ or emboss figures. Paper and other materials up until a DIN A5 size can be used with this machine. Sizzix Originals Die
For this project, the “Tattered Leaves” die from Jim Holz Alterations was used. When this particular die is no longer available, there are also other leaves dies from Sizzix that you can use instead. More information about Originals dies here

Sizzix Cutting Plates
You will practically always need these cutting plates for the Big Shot, no matter if you are cutting or embossing with the Multi-Purpose Platform or using the thick “Originals” dies. These help regulate the thickness of the stack so enough pressure is available to help the machine cut through the material.

|
|
|
|
Stick Glue
Stick glue holds the paper well and does not buckle up underneath the paper.
