How to Use the Additional Boards
On each separate board that can be additionally used with the Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro Case, there are 2 corners that are cut out. These fit on the permanent pegs found on the board. These pegs keep the additional board from moving while you are embossing the shapes or lines on it.

|
|
The Ruler and Cutting Mouse
The ruler fits on each side over the middle hinge of the case. It has a slit down the middle of it. Just place your paper over it to the point where you need it to be cut and slide the cutting mouse down it to cut the paper.

|
|
|
|
Embossing and Cutting the Motifs
You will find several motifs on the case itself. Many additional embossing boards can also be purchased for additional motifs. Here the heart motif was selected to demonstrate how the embossing works.

|
|
|
|
|
Just place your paper or card over the selected motif and find the groove with the embossing stylus. Once you find the groove, follow it with even pressure around the shape.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
This is the finished heart on the side you just embossed.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
When turned over, the motif is raised.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
You can cut the motif out if you like to embellish cards or scrapbooks.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Embellishing Corners
Here are four decorative corner motifs that can be found on the case.

|
|
|
|
There are raised points so you can place the corner of your card or paper in it and keep it from moving while embossing.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Then follow your stylus along the grooves to emboss the pattern on the corner. If your stylus happens to slip out of the groove, it is not a problem. You will not see that on the other side of the card.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
