Craft Tutorial - Stamping and Embossing
1. First adhere the silicone motif to the acrylic block.
2. Then open your stamp pad, turn it around and press evenly it onto the motif. Don’t press too hard, though. The ink should only ahdere to the raised motif, not the spaces in between.
3. This is now how the motif looks with the ink.
4. Next, evenly press the stamp onto your paper.
5. Afterwards, you will shake the embossong powder onto the wet motif.
6. Use a lot of powder to assure that the entire motif is covered.
7. Then shake the rest onto a piece of thin paper.
8. Fold the paper slightly and fill the rest back into the container.
9. Now your motif is covered with the powder. It looks powdery. Turn on the heating tool and point it towards the motif. Don’t hold it too close, though.
10. You will see that the powder is starting to turn black and is getting shinier. this is a sign that the powder is melting. Continue until the entire motif looks this way. Then turn of the heating tool.
11. Here you can see how the motif looks shiny. It is already to use if you want or you can choose to color it with water color pencils.
When finished, wash the silicone stamp and the acrylic block with water.
