Sizzix® Big Shot™ and Accessories at a Glance
Sizzix Big Shot is a great die-cutting and embossing machine and has been around for several years already. Use it with dies and folders from Sizzix or other companies to easily cut and/ or emboss figures.

Various Dies and Embossing Folders/ Plates for the Sizzix Big Shot
When you want to use the machine to cut or emboss, you will need special accesories. These are examples of what Sizzix has developed for this machine.

Sizzix Originals Dies
These dies are thick and sturdy and can easily cut through thin and thick materials like paper, card, chipboard, fabric (even more layers of it), felt, thin metal sheets, fun foam, leather and more. You can purchase them in different sizes and they go by the names like “Originals“, “Bigz“, “Bigz L” und Bigz XL“. Each of these dies are the same in thickness and are treated the same with the Big Shot. More information and tutorial here

Sizzix Framelits Dies
These are thin metal dies and are good for paper and other not so thick materials. You will find lots of shapes and sizes and there are also sets with dies and motif stamps. For example you can stamp a tree from a set onto paper and then cut it out with the exact shape die to give you a motif that you can then use for your cards or scrapbooks.

Sizzix Sizzlit Dies
Sizzlits are thin cutting dies and can be used with the Big Shot as well as the Sizzix Sidekick (this is a small die cutting machine designed just for the Sizzlits). Sizzits are good for cutting out paper shapes.

Sizzix Embosslit
With the Embosslit you can cut and emboss in just one step. When complete, you have a cut motif with embossed edges that is ready to use for your project.

Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders
You will find many of these embossing folders for all seasons and occasions. These folders are raised on both sides, so that both sides of the inserted paper get embossed. Once the paper is enclosed in the folder, it gets turned through the machine and is afterwards embossed with the chosen pattern. More information and tutorial here

Sizzix Texturz Texture Plates
The Texturz Texture Plates are another way to emboss your paper. These plates have a different pattern on each side so you always have two different possibilities to emboss with each plate. No matter which season of the year you need a pattern for, you will find many plates to choose from.

|
Sizzix Simple Impressions Embossing Folder
These are metal embossing plates and can be used either with or without the plastic folder.
